Story Time information

WINTER PRE-SCHOOL STORYTIME BEGINS JANUARY 8, 2008!

Stop in or call 684-3813 to register.

*IMPORTANT CLOSING INFORMATION*
Storytime will be cancelled for the day when Baldwin-Woodville Area School District is closed due to inclement weather.

When there is a 2-hour delay, the 9:30am preschool session will be cancelled; however the 10:30am preschool session will take place and those who would usually attend the 9:30am session are welcome at 10:30am.  The 10:00am lapsit program will also begin at 10:30am.  The 11:30am toddler class will not be affected.

Our expanded options of classes to include younger children and more times have been working well.  The new Lap-sit class for infants (ages 6 to 24 months) will continue, as well as the Toddler (ages 2 to 3 years) class and the usual morning and evening classes for 3- to 5-year-olds.  Additionally, parents of 2- and 3-year-olds will have the option of selecting the session that best fits their child's readiness and comfort levels.  We have the option of  a Thursday evening session for 3- to 5-year-olds if the Tuesday evening class is full.

All classes will involve age-appropriate stories, puppet shows and plays, and sing-a-longs.  Classes for older children will also include crafts and a snack.  A parent or guardian must accompany their children to the Lap-sit and Toddler classes -- and siblings are welcome as well!  (Parents or guardians of older children are required to remain in the library during story time but their participation in the class is optional.)

Class sizes are limited, so please call 684-3813 to register as soon as possible.  All sessions will be held on Tuesdays, beginning January 8th.
