Whether you're looking to relax or learn something new, the Baldwin Public Library offers you a wide variety of choices: books, magazines, newspapers, videos (DVD and VHS), compact discs, music cassettes, books on cassette and CD, foreign language materials, large print books, and computer software.

The Library is located in the Baldwin Municipal Building at 400 Cedar Street, two blocks east of Highway 63 and approximately 1.5 miles north of I-94.

Library cards are free to Wisconsin residents who present a valid ID with proof of current residential address. Acceptable forms of identification include the following:
All cards are renewed each year. There is no fee for renewal. A $1.00 replacement fee will be charged to replace lost or destroyed cards.
Children may receive a library card when they are six years old or in kindergarten, whichever comes first.
Students under 16 years old will need a parent or guardian to sign a statement of responsibility.
Loan Periods:
Videos, DVDs, computer software and magazines: 1 week
Books, audiobooks, music CDs and cassettes, and equipment: 3 weeks
Fines:
DVDs, videos, and computer software: $1.00 per day per item.
All other materials: 10 cents per day per item.
Equipment: depends on item.
Fines being accumulating on the day following the due date. To prevent fines, materials should be returned to the library by closing time on the date they are due. Patrons with fines in excess of $10.00 will have a block placed on their account until the fines have been paid.
Renewals:
Items may be renewed twice in sequence unless the item is on hold for another patron. Items may be renewed several ways:
Reserves/Holds:
An item that is not available may be placed on reserve and we will notify you when it arrives at the library. Also, items that are available at other MORE libraries may be sent to another MORE library to be picked up. Items can be placed on hold through the MORE website online catalog, by telephone, email, or in person.
Lost or Damaged Materials:
You will be charged for the replacement costs of any lost or damaged items.
Patrons must present their library cards to check out materials.
Patrons are responsible for all items checked out on their card.
Parents or guardians are responsible for monitoring their children's access to all library resources.
To avoid fines for overdue materials, items must be returned on or before the day they are due. This includes items returned in the outside book drop.

Computers for Internet research and word processing with laser printers (10 cents per copy)
