Guest Poet Lamoine McLaughlin, 4:00

Guest Poet at Library - Thursday, Nov. 29th, 4:00pm

Poet Laureate of Amery, WI and Director of the Northern Lakes Center for the Arts and the Northern Lakes School of Arts, La Moine McLaughlin has read his delightful poetry for us before.  Now he has a new book, with imagined conversations from Shakespearean characters, called Secrets from the Wings. If you had lived in the bard's time, what might you have learned about the interactions between these colorful people?!   McLaughlin is also current President of the Wisconsin Writers' Association (2012) and can talk about the art of writing poetry, and other art-related questions you might have.  Come Nov. 29th to  relax and enjoy how beautiful and amazing language can be!
The Baldwin Library at 400 Cedar St. is an accessible space.    684-3813.
