We're so overflowing with used books that we are having a quick sale to clear out the corners BEFORE our usual June Bug Days sale. Stop by on Friday, March 23rd or Saturday, March 24th from 10am to 4pm to browse our selection of popular novels, classics, movies, etc. for very reasonable prices! Sponsored by the Friends of the Baldwin Public Library, the sale will benefit the library's materials-buying budget. * * * * * * * * * Digital Camera for LoanThe library owns a digital camera that customers may check out for a one-week period. The camera is a Sony Mavica FD 73 model. It's easy to use because it records photos straight to a 3.5" disk, which can be popped into your computer without any attachments or additional software. You can then email your photos to friends and family.There is no charge to borrow the digital camera, however you must be 18 years of age or older, have a valid library card and pay a $50.00 deposit. The deposit will be returned to you when you return the camera. Included with the camera is a battery charger and complete operation instructions. Customer must provide their own 3.5" disk or purchase one from the library for a small fee.
