Asked Questions
Q. How do I get a library card?
A. Wisconsin residents who present a valid ID with proof of current residential
address may have a library card free of charge.
- Cards are issued for one year and renewed annually. There is no fee for renewal. A $1.00
replacement fee will be charged for a lost or destroyed card. Please notify the library if
your card is lost or stolen so that we can help prevent others from using your card.
- Children may receive a library card when they are 6 years old or enter kindergarten,
whichever comes first.
- Students under 16 years of age will need a parent or guardian to sign a statement of
responsibility.
- First-time borrowers are limited two items on their first visit.
